paperclippyA while ago I had one of those days where I spilled hot water and hot tea on myself several times. It looks like today is going to be one of those days.
(Note that this problem would be completely avoided if they would keep the temperature high enough that I didn't have to drink tea to stay warm.)
I went to get some tea. While I was lifting the hot water tap to fill my cup, I had to sneeze. Thoughtfully, I stopped the hot water flow while I sneezed. But I didn't look closely enough before starting it again, and poured some hot water on my hand. As if that wasn't bad enough, the shock of the heat made me jerk my hand, and water sloshed out of the cup all over my hand, and I couldn't hold the cup and basically threw it in the sink, in the process spilling nearly boiling water all over the coffeemaker, counter, and floor. And myself. I think I only really burned one of my fingers, and it doesn't look really that bad yet, but I got pretty scaleded all over my hands.
