I always feel guilty when I get all excited and happy for my friends getting engaged (unfair marriage institution, the fact that your relationship is as serious as you want it to be, with or without government approval, etc.). I guess I'm mostly just happy because I expect you're happy : ) That and I might get to see you at your wedding (if we're invited (if you have a ceremony)) : )

Thanks! :) I don't know why you should feel guilty . . . Some people like to observe traditions and some don't because they disagree with them. Either way it's not wrong to be happy for someone! And unless something goes drastically wrong, we will have a ceremony (though it won't be for AT LEAST a year) and unless something else goes drastically wrong, I can't imagine that we wouldn't invite you. Though I reserve my right to not make any commitments about who will be invited and who will not, just in case. :)
