! Yay for totally random compliments. One of the secretaries, who I've basically never spoken to, was passing by my office, and poked her head in to say "I have to tell you that I love your haircut!"

The closest I've ever come to having something like that happen is when I was at the Getty center during the orientation trip at the beginning of freshman year at Mudd, and some guy came up to me and was like "your hair is the most amazing color!" (I had dyed it burgundy.)

Extra bonus points for Lisa at Salon Kroma. Still not quite as good IMO as Bethany at King & Co. in LA, but certainly good enough! (and cheaper, so even more bonus points!)
