snow day

So, Brown is closed today for snow, and as a result I don't have to do my presentation until "a later date." I also can't do much else, since I have no remote access other than IMAP to school. Maybe I will go try to make a snowman.

Ben and I had fun digging out the car last night (I'm not being sarcastic, it was actually fun). Since we had no shovel we used our trash cans to scoop up snow and dump it out of the way. Ben's going in to work today -- I hope they plowed his office's parking lot! I don't know what I'm going to do all day. Waste time watching TV probably. Maybe I'll take a walk up to the graveyard and take some pictures of the snow (yes, maybe that sounds really weird, but the graveyard is really pretty, and has the added bonus of some very historical graves). If it's open, I can even finally look in the map store and see what they've got (globes, maybe?). Of course, it will probably be closed because the owners are probably snowed in in a suburb somewhere (this is the kind of store that when we moved in had a sign on the door saying "closed for family vacation").

I wonder if the buses are running today. Pretty much everything governmental is closed except for emergency services I think.
