Well, karate last night managed to make me sore in an incredibly unpleasant place -- namely, the very lowest part of my back. Aside from the fact that this is the same area of my back that hurts when I have cramps (and thus I have a double-whammy, so to speak), it also contains the muscles used for such everyday things as: sitting, standing, walking, moving. We'll temporarily ignore the fact that this is also the area where my muscles get sore from too much orchestra.
I had really weird dreams last night, but they weren't coherent enough to even write down. Part of it involved a book, and it kept switching between being in the book and me (and other people) reading the book. I was also going to thrift stores (in the book) with Aja for some reason that I think had to do with clinic. And she was a man. There was some underwater street-crossing involved, as well as watching the stars form words so that we knew when the next Harry Potter book was coming out. The book had a lot of appendices as well, but I primarily was looking for the map in the back of it.
No clue what any of that dream was about.
I have no breakfast food. I think that means I'll have to get coffee cart food after chamber music rehearsal.
On the plus side, I "caught up" in research by virtue of the fact that a couple weeks ago I had already done what Prof. Dodds wanted me to, and he doesn't know what I should do next. No theocomp homework this weekend (YAY!) but instead we get one assigned Tueseday due Thursday (not so yay, but it's complexity stuff so it can't be that bad). And, most importantly, NO MORE HUM READING! Woohoo! I have actually been good and started looking at stuff for my research paper, because for once I'm going to write about something I'm interested in.
Okay, time for getting dressed. If I'm quick enough, maybe I can even get to Platt for breakfast before rehearsal! (I doubt it though)
