I found the easiest cranberry sauce/relish recipe EVAR online today and made it this evening. It is a microwave recipe and takes a total of under 15 minutes from start to finish. I made a half recipe but I'm transcribing the full one here.
from http://www.fatfree.com/recipes/fruits/cranberry-apple-relish
Cranberry-Apple Relish
1 C sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp cloves (I didn't have any and it worked fine)
4 C (1 lb) cranberries (fresh or frozen)
2 medium tart apples (2 C), chopped
Mix together sugar and spices in a microwave-safe bowl (one with a lid). Mix in cranberries and apples. Cover and microwave on high 10 minutes, stirring twice, until cranberries pop open. Remove cover and microwave 2-3 minutes to thicken.
Now wasn't that easy? And it tastes REALLY good too. Yummmmm.
