Batman
I just realized that I forgot to update and say that Ben and I went to see Batman Begins last weekend. I definitely liked it -- I mean, there is always a little bit of cheese in any superhero movie, but overall I would definitely recommend it. I'm not a movie critic like
etiphany, but I thought I'd just add my two cents. I know some other people didn't like it so much, and maybe it's just because I am a huge Batman fan in general (aside from the movies), but I definitely preferred this movie to, say, Spiderman 2 (which I thought was way too cheesy/sappy).
The animated Batman series is still my fave though. ;) And I think those of you with similar minds to mine (
rhoddlet perhaps) will definitely enjoy Dr. Crane (maybe I'm just a sucker for insane villains).

CRANE!!!!!!!!! CRAZYY!!!!!!!!!!!!! etc.
It's good that you liked it, though. The animated Batman cartoon was the best, dammit, and I'll fight all who disagree.

I need to get my hands on some comics, but like, the kind that are free or something. Do public libraries carry this stuff? I was more of a Nightwing comic fan than Batman, so the only Batman arc I ever really read was Knightfall.
If I remember correctly, there were at least a couple of animated Batman episodes about secret Asian fighting schools. In fact, since I have about 50 episodes of that show on tape, I probably have them. My favorite animated Batman episode is still the two-parter about Two-Face though. Hey, is that show out on DVD?
