Out of 9 responses, 5 people said they "usually" like their job, and 4 said they "sometimes" like their job.
Out of 10 responses, 1 person said they like grad school, 5 people said they "sometimes" like grad school, 3 people said they do "not often" like grad school, and 1 person said they do not like grad school. (Note that nobody said they "usually" like grad school, and for the record I did not vote in my own poll.)
So, to make a gross generalization based on my tiny sample size, in general, people like their jobs better than grad students like grad school. My guess is that![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
thumbie is the only one who exactly fits the type of person who should be getting a PhD. ;) That or UCSB is just totally cool.
