pen and pencil troubles

I bought a pack of two refills for my gel pen a while ago. I put in the first one, but yesterday I used it up. now I can't find the other!!! Arrrgh!

ALSO, I bought a new mechanical pencil at the beginning of this semester. And it broke! Like, totally! What the hell is up with that? I paid like $4 for that pencil! :P

(I guess my life must be okay if what's bugging me the most is my lack of writing implements.)
