I'm back in sunny Los Angeles!

Why is it that now that I have time to see people, everyone else is currently *not* in LA?

Anyway, if any of you return to LA before I go back to school and want to hang out, drop me a line. That's funny, I write this same message every single break and nobody ever responds. So the question is, do people (a) not read my entries, (b) not know how to get in touch with me, or (c) not care/not want to see me? Because I know there are always some people around . . .

Anyway, it's good to be home. I think I survived this NJ trip much better than previous trips in some ways, and worse in others. Better in the sense that last time we went for a whole week I was dying to go home by the second day, whereas this time I was mostly just wanting to get back to a situation where I had my own room and my own car (not necessarily the same as going home).

Speaking of cars, we took mine in over a week ago because the heater was broken, and it turns out it needs some part of some unit. Toyota sells the whole unit, but it's expensive, so now our mechanic is going around to scrapyards looking for the part. :p I can borrow my parents' (nicer) cars for now, but it's kind of annoying.
