Nov. 7th, 2003 08:33 pmThat's what ETS is. Don't they realize that nobody uses wood pencils anymore? Prof. Huang is the only person I know who uses them regularly. Most college students use mechanical pencils.
What mostly bothers me about the wood pencil thing is that the reason I don't use wood pencils is that they really hurt my hand. All my mechanical pencils are very thick, and have soft squishy grips. Wood pencils scrape up my fingers and are too narrow, so it hurts my hand/wrist to grip them for long periods of time.
Well, at least they let me specify that I wanted left-handed seating.
Now that I've skimmed/read the entire Algorithms textbook and the new Computer Systems textbook, and gone through the practice test twice, I think it's time for Tetris and Spider Solitaire.
