I you leave an open container of food on the floor, they will come.

By "they" I mean gross ants. But the situation has been remedied -- the ants are now happily munching my fig newtons in the outdoor trash can, and lucky for me there was another totally sealed container of fig newtons that they couldn't get into. They didn't seem to be interested in my gummy fruits.

So after disposing of the anty fig newtons, thinking I had gotten rid of all of them, I glanced down and saw about five ants on my laptop. I only managed to squish one of them, and then I opened the laptop in time to see one run into my keyboard. I figure if it can get inside the case it will get fried. However, I couldn't find the other three. I picked up my laptop and moved it, hoping to jar those three ants out.

OMG NASTY GROSS GROSS EW OMG THERE WERE LIKE 200 ANTS RUNNING AROUND ON THE FLOOR WHERE MY LAPTOP WAS OMG NASTY GROSS GROSS GROSS!!!!!!!

I ran outside (after screaming some choice expletives) to see if I could find Eugene, on the off-chance that F&M might have Raid or something in their closet. However, Eugene was not to be found. Freaking out, I came back to my room, to find that the ants had escaped! When I looked at them, they looked like they were making an organized run for it towards the cinderblock wall behind my computer. They aren't on the floor anymore, at least, but I don't know where they went. I'm really hoping they realized the food was gone and ran off OUTSIDE back to wherever they came from in the first place, but I want to find out how they've been getting in and SPRAY IT WITH RAID UNTIL ALL THOSE NASTY LITTLE BUGS ARE DEAD.

EW EW EW OMG EW EW EW. Now I'm freaking out because I think every little tickle is an ANT on me. EW EW EW NASTY EW EW!
