hummy hum hum

It's really amazing how quickly this paper is going now that I actually started writing something. OTOH, I have no idea if what I'm writing is what he was expecting with the assignment basically saying to write something "analytical." Analyze the author's argument, but don't summarize. Hmmmmm . . . I find it hard to analyze the "argument" of a history text. However, I can put the history into my own words and pepper it with "Diner makes the point that blah," and "however, Diner mentiones blah." "Analytical" is a really vague word. At least with a paper on a novel I know what's expected of me. A paper on a history text? No idea.

Anyway, I have two pages of the 3-4 page paper, so I'm making pretty good progress. One more paragraph and a conclusion should take me through the third page. This paper just isn't very coherent.
