I did it

I am now the proud owner of a 15" PowerBook (with superdrive), a 10GB iPod, and a printer, for the grand total of $600 out of my own pocket (and $2000 out of my parents' pockets . . . ).

What does this really mean?

It means I can type up my Japanese homework!! YES!

Wow

I can now read every single word in the handout Kurita-sensei gave us. Damn, that was a lot of words. I knew about 35 of the 80 or so words coming into it, but now I know all of them. At least, I know them in the Japanese->English direction, but I think that's the only direction we're supposed to know.
