I just went to the movies alone for the first time in my life. It was okay, actually -- the theater was pretty empty (seeing how it was 2:30 on a weekday), mostly some old folks there. Anyway, I went in an effort to relieve my boredom until Ben gets home, and saw "Swimming Pool," which I'd heard ads for and wanted to see.

I think that one words describes this movie: weird. It had lots of gratuitous nudity and lots of sex/drugs/alcohol/murder/etc, but it was kind of weird. It got off to a really slow start, and then had very much a twist ending. I'm still not sure whether I liked it or not. I haven't quite figured out what happened yet.

Anyway, it was a good way to use up a few hours.
