So exciting I can't stand it . . .
Aug. 11th, 2003 03:29 pmWell, I just spent a fun-filled six hours of GRE studying. Bleh. :P
Anyway, judging from the practice stuff I've done, as long as I can keep myself from making stupid mistakes with math, I should be just fine. I really hate reading comprehension, but I seem to be okay at it.
Now it's time to read a book for a while. I'm like halfway through "Assassin's Quest." I'm enjoying this trilogy, but not as much as I feel like I should be -- mostly because Fitz pisses me off, and I prefer to read books about characters I like. The Fool, however, is totally awesome. I'm finding myself checking every half hour or so to see how much more I have left to go, which is a bad sign -- I do kind of feel like this is dragging on forever. I mean, really -- how many more things can go wrong? (Don't answer that!)
Anyway, when I'm done with this book I have a few options. I bought a copy of the Mists of Avalon from the used bookstore, and I also bought a book about the history of prostitution. That or Emily Post's Etiquette. ;D I'm actually kind of leaning toward reading something not fantasy next though -- maybe some goold old Jane Austen.
