Hey all-
I would like to officially announce a new club on campus: the
Role-playing Club. If you don't like role-playing, don't care what
role-playing is, or are just generally sick of reading e-mails, feel free to
stop reading this one at any time.

This club is designed to encourage communication between existing
role-players, generate interest in non-role-players, and just generally have
a great time role-playing! I would strongly encourage you, if you are
interested in role-playing, to attend the first club meeting 8:00pm
Thursday, Sept 4th, in the East Dorm Lounge. We will be discussing some
club policies, electing officers, reviewing the budget and/or charter (if
anyone cares), collecting e-mail addresses, and helping role-players to find
role-playing groups.


Um, excuse me? I don't remember anyone ASKING THE DORM if they wanted this club to meet in the lounge. As much as I am pissed off by the idea of this club meeting in our lounge (for various mostly bitter senior reasons), if they'd asked the dorm and the dorm had collectively said it was okay, that would be fine. I don't recall anyone from this group having the courtesy to ask the fucking dorm before parceling out our lounge like it was the Green Room or something.
